Monumental......

Kirk Cameron, an actor and evangelical christian, is releasing his new documentary, Monumental, this year. Kirk Cameron is probably one of my favorite actors. He stands up for what he believes, which isn't a common trait. As some of you may have read recently his stance on gay marriage and I admire that in someone like him. His outreach, Living Waters, along with Ray Comfort, has touched many people around the world.
I definitely want to watch his new movie Monumental when it comes out!

Beauty...........???

I knew billboard people did things like this to "enhance" the model.....but I never knew they did so much!...just to make the model more "pretty." :/

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Proverbs 31:30

Of course, God wants us to be beautiful. We are supposed to reflect Christ. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. (Proverbs 31:22) But, the "loose-sexy-look over here" look is not God's idea of beauty. Why do girls think they have to be ultra thin, perfect hair, and tons of make-up to be pretty?! Mainly it's because that's what the world tells us. That's what the magazines tell us. Those pictures are distorted....obviously. It's sad to see girls that think they need to be this "barbie-girl."

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Titus 2:12-14
