Foaming soap you can get from the store is already 90% water, and of course 10% yucky, bad, gross, earth damaging, gunk! SO.... Let's make it ourselves!!
Because everything eco-green and natural is awesome...
p.s. the foaming action is all in the bottle...not the special soap.
Check this stuff out!!
~What You'll need~
Foaming bottle (We just bought a bottle of foam soap from the store and dumped out the junk and rinsed the bottle, if you can find an empty foaming bottle somewhere....that would be better...but....whatever)
Olive oil, coconut oil, or vegetable glycerin
Water
Castile soap
Essential oils, if so desired
1 Cup Water
1 1/2 Tbs. Castile Soap
1 Tsp. of the choice oil or vegetable glycerin
Essential oils if so desire
You have to put the water in first!! Add castile soap to water, not water to castile! Otherwise you'll get weird flaky castile chunkies. :) So, just put the water in first then add all the other stuff. If you are using scented castile soap you could either drop the essential oils or make it blend beautifully. ;) We used lavender castile soap and didn't use any essential oils. Although some lemon would be great with the lavender...hum...I should try that. Anyway...once it's all added you can just shake it up a bit and pump that baby....voila!! Awesome foamy soap!!! Now go impress somebody......
